Planning process
How GridCanvas Family Finance structures family financial goal planning sessions and ongoing plan reviews.
Our service model pairs an initial household discovery session with documented goals and follow-up reviews. Fees for consultations are agreed in writing before payment; we do not publish fixed packages because scope varies by family size, debt load, and planning horizon.
- Discovery intake — You share income patterns, fixed obligations, and the goals that matter this year (education, housing, caregiving, retirement). We list unknowns and mark which documents to gather before the working session.
- Goal map workshop — In a facilitated working session, we rank goals, estimate funding gaps, and sketch monthly contribution ranges. Outputs include a one-page priority map and a cash-flow snapshot you can keep.
- Written plan draft — We consolidate assumptions—inflation guesses, target dates, and contingency buffers—into a readable plan draft. You review offline and return comments asynchronously.
- Review cadence — Ongoing plan reviews revisit contributions, celebrate completed milestones, and reset timelines when life events intervene. You choose quarterly, semi-annual, or on-demand scheduling.
Boundaries
GridCanvas Family Finance provides financial planning and management support for family goals. We are not a securities broker, insurer, or tax filing agent. Licensed specialists handle product placement or formal tax positions when required.
